WELCOME TO THE RESISTANCE

“The most important thing we grow isn’t food. It’s the relationship we develop with the land that teaches us how to care for everything else.”

ABOUT · PAUL AVELLINO

I didn’t start growing food because I had it all figured out.

I started because I wanted to understand where my food came from and have a little more say in how it was grown. Somewhere between the first seedlings, the mistakes, and the seasons that refused to cooperate, the garden became something much bigger.

Now I use an ordinary yard to grow food, build habitat, experiment loudly, and share what works — including the things that absolutely don’t. I’m less interested in perfect gardens than I am in healthier soil, useful harvests, more wildlife, and helping people feel capable of growing something for themselves.

The education here stays free on purpose. Nobody should need a subscription to learn how to feed themselves, care for the land under their feet, or make their little piece of the world more alive.

FIELD NOTE — I’m not here to teach you how to control nature. I’m here to help you notice how much easier gardening gets when you stop trying to.
